Introduction

The Library Store within Autom Mate is a centralized repository where users can find and that are pre-integrated with the platform. These applications extend Autom Mate’s functionality by allowing users to leverage external tools and services, seamlessly integrating them into their automation workflows. The Library Store page provides users with an easy interface to view, activate, and use these applications.

The Library Store within Autom Mate provides an efficient and streamlined way for users to integrate external applications into their automation workflows. By allowing users to view, activate, and utilize predefined actions, the Library Store ensures that users can extend the platform’s functionality with minimal setup. The clear interface and guidance on credentials and versions help ensure that applications are used effectively and securely within Autom Mate.


Viewing Installed Applications

If a customer wants to view the applications that have already been installed in their Autom Mate environment, they can do so by navigating to the Installed Tab:

Users can find this tab under the Store section of Autom Mate. This section provides a comprehensive list of all applications that have been installed and are currently active in the system.

Viewing Installed Applications

In the Installed Tab, users can view detailed information about each installed application. For each application, the following details are displayed:

  • Library Name: The name of the library or application that has been installed.

  • Developer: Information about the developer or provider of the application.

  • Active Version: The version of the application that is currently active and in use within the Autom Mate environment.

  • Last Version: The most recent version available for the application, which may be newer than the active version if an update is available.

  • Modified Date: The date and time when the application was last modified or updated.

Managing Installed Applications

From this section, users can easily review which applications are active, confirm that they are using the latest versions, and view key details such as the developer and last modification date. If an update is available, users can navigate to the application’s detail page for more information or to initiate an update.

Viewing Application Details

Once inside the Library Store, users can see a list of available applications. For more detailed information about a specific application, users can:

  1. Click the Arrow Icon : On the right side of each row in the application list, users will find an arrow icon. Clicking this icon will take them to the application’s Details Page.

  2. Details Page Overview : On the details page, users will find key information about the selected application, located at the top and left side of the screen:

    • Last Modified : The date and time the application was last updated.

    • Modified By : Information about who made the last modification to the application.

    • Current Version : The version of the application currently available in the Library Store.

Downloading and Activating Applications

At the top-right corner of the application details page, users will see two important components:

  1. Activate and Download Button : This button allows users to activate and download the application into their Autom Mate environment. Once the application is activated, it becomes available for use within the platform.

  2. Version Selection Dropdown : Alongside the activation button is a version selection dropdown menu, allowing users to choose which version of the application they wish to download. Autom Mate recommends using the latest version to ensure full compatibility with the platform and access to the newest features and security updates.

Actions in the Application Library

Each application in the Library Store comes with pre-configured actions that define how the application interacts with Autom Mate. These actions cannot be modified or configured by users, but users can view these predefined actions to understand the functionality of the application.

  1. Viewing Actions : Below the top menu, users can see a list of actions that the selected application provides. These actions are preset and provide specific functionalities within Autom Mate. The actions are listed with descriptions that explain their purpose and behavior.

  2. Expanding Action Details : Users can expand each action to view additional details, such as:

    • Action descriptions.

    • Usage instructions or configuration comments, if applicable.

While users can view these actions and understand how they work, they cannot configure or modify them. The actions are fixed and predefined by the application provider, ensuring consistent functionality across all environments.

Application Status and Activation Verification

To verify that an application has been successfully activated:

Check the Activation Status : After the user activates an application, the button previously used for activation will show the version number of the activated application, along with the word "Activated". This provides clear confirmation that the application is now live and ready for use within Autom Mate.

Best Practices for Application Management

  • Always Use the Latest Version: Autom Mate strongly recommends that users download and activate the latest version of any application. Using the latest version ensures compatibility with current platform features and security enhancements.

  • Understand Predefined Actions: While users cannot configure actions, it is important to fully review the available actions for each application. Understanding these actions will help users implement the application effectively within their workflows.

Users who cannot find a particular application in the section can navigate to the Library Store. This section lists all available applications that are integrated with Autom Mate and are ready to be activated. The Library Store makes it easy for users to find the tools they need and integrate them into their workflow with minimal setup.

For applications that require credentials stored in Autom Mate’s , these credentials can be accessed through the Connections Tab within the application’s details page.

Any credentials associated with the application will be visible under the Connections Tab. Users can view which credentials the application uses, but managing or updating the credentials must be done through the .

Manage Credentials via : Regularly check any credentials associated with applications in the to ensure they are up-to-date and secure. While credentials are viewable under the application’s Connectors Tab, they must be managed directly in the .
