# Alerts

## **Introduction**

The **Alerts Page** in Autom Mate is where users can view and manage alerts triggered by specific conditions within the platform. Alerts are generated based on predefined rules and are meant to notify users of critical events requiring attention. The Alerts Page organizes these alerts for quick reference and action.

## **Brief Overview of Alert Management**

[Alert Management](https://docs.autommate.com/userguide/product-features/management/alert-management) in Autom Mate allows users to define when and how alerts are triggered through two main components:

* [**Actioneer Profile:**](https://docs.autommate.com/userguide/management/alert-management#actioneer-profile) Configures notification channels (e.g., email).
* [**Alert Profile**: ](https://docs.autommate.com/userguide/management/alert-management#alert-profile)Sets rules and conditions under which alerts are sent using the selected Actioneer Profile.

Alerts are sent through configured channels like email based on specific rules that users set. Actioneer and Alert Profiles are created and managed in the settings of Autom Mate.
