What is Exact Online?

Exact Online is a cloud-based software solution primarily used for accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) designed for small to medium-sized businesses. It provides a comprehensive platform for managing financials, CRM, HRM, and project management. It integrates with various business processes, allowing users to handle everything from invoicing and payroll to inventory management and tax compliance. Here are soem key features of the product:

  • CRM: Customer relationship management tools to track interactions, sales opportunities, and customer data.

  • Project Management: Tools to plan, track, and manage projects, including budgeting and resource allocation.

  • Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, track orders, and optimize supply chain processes.

  • Financial Management: Invoicing, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

  • HRM: Human resource management for payroll, employee records, and time tracking.

Using the Integration

Credentials

To use Exact Online actions in Autom Mate, you need to create credentials. Follow these steps:

  1. Access Vault Page:

    • Navigate to the Vault page under the Management section in the left side menu.

  2. Application Credentials:

    • Ensure you are on the Application Credentials tab on the left side.

    • Search for Exact Online using the filter or manually.

    • Alternatively, click on the "New App Credentials" button at the top left side of the window to create new credentials.

  3. Provide Credentials:

    • Connector Name: Unique name for the connector.

    • Authentication Type: Choose the method you want to connect.

    • Server URL: Provide the URL of your Exact Online instance.

    • Client ID: Provide the Client ID of the Exact Online instance.

    • Client Secret: Provide the Client Secret of the Exact Online instance.

  4. Connect Credentials:

    1. After filling the fields, press on "Test Connect". If you get a success response you can press to the "Connect & Create" button to save the credential.

How To Use Actions

Create Project Time Transactions

Description: This action will create a time transaction for project.

Usage:

  • Division: The division that user need to create a time transaction on.

  • Data Manager: Users can choose the fields that needs to added to the time transaction from Data Manager


Delete Endpoint with ID

Description: This action will delete the endpoint provided.

Usage:

  • Division: The division that user need to create a time transaction on.

  • Service And Endpoint: Choose the service and endpoint either from dropdown or manually from the text field.

  • Endpoint ID: Provide the Endpoint ID.


List or Get Endpoint

Description: This action will either list all the endpoints or a single one of them.

Usage:

  • Division: The division that user need to create a time transaction on.

  • Service And Endpoint: Choose the service and endpoint either from dropdown or manually from the text field.

  • Primary key (Optional): PIf the user want to lsit an endpoint, provide the primary key of it.


Update Project Time Transaction

Description: This action will update a time transaction for project.

Usage:

  • Division: The division that user need to create a time transaction on.

  • Time Transaction ID: Provide the Id of the Time Transaction that is going to be updated.

  • Data Manager: Users can choose the fields that needs to added to the time transaction from Data Manager
