Autom Mate introduces a robust feature designed to assist users during the automation creation process by providing detailed insights into action library versions. This feature ensures that users can easily identify and resolve any potential version conflicts, thereby enhancing the reliability and consistency of their automation workflows.

Feature Location and Activation

  • Placement: The Library Insights feature is conveniently located within the Autom Builder screen. Users can find it at the top right side, adjacent to the Autom name.

  • Activation: This feature is activated via a switch button. When toggled on, the background of the Autom Builder screen transforms, displaying a dotted pattern, signaling that Library Insights is active.

Library Insights Interface

Key Feature

  • Visibility: Upon activation, a new button labeled "Library Insights" appears on the right side of the Autom Builder screen, positioned above the import button.

  • Functionality: Clicking on the Library Insights button triggers a pop-up window that provides a comprehensive list of all library components included in the Autom. Each component is accompanied by its corresponding version number, making it easy for users to identify the versions in use.

  • Search Capability: The pop-up window also features a search bar, allowing users to quickly locate specific actions by name, streamlining the process of managing library components.

In-Autom Action Versioning

In addition to the central Library Insights feature, Autom Mate further enhances transparency by displaying the version of the application next to the action name within the flow actions. This ensures users have real-time visibility into the versions being utilized at every stage of the automation process.

Benefits

  1. Conflict Resolution: By providing immediate access to version information, this feature aids in swiftly resolving any version conflicts that may arise, ensuring smooth automation execution.

  2. Enhanced Transparency: The clear display of version details within both the Library Insights pop-up and the flow actions enhances user confidence in their automation setup, reducing the likelihood of errors.

This feature underscores Autom Mate’s commitment to offering user-friendly tools that simplify the automation process while maintaining the integrity and reliability of automated workflows.
