Autom Mate Academy and learning paths
Use the Academy to practise building Hyperflows and connecting systems, then use this documentation for the fields and behaviour in your installed release. Course recordings may show an earlier interface or use the former Autom name for a Hyperflow.
Choose a starting point
Build your first automation
Create a small Hyperflow; add actions and variables; inspect its execution log.
Connect applications and handle more complex data
Configure credentials, map API data, add conditions and diagnose a failed step.
Deliver automation through Teams
Connect a bot, exchange messages and use Adaptive Cards in a controlled example.
The Autom Mate Academy instructor page lists the courses. Access, enrolment and course availability are managed by Udemy.
Practise in the current interface
Pair the course material with these short documentation exercises. Each names an output to check and shows what was actually observed in presales on 13 October 2026. Keep the remaining steps as a recipe until you have run and verified them yourself.
Hyperflow basics — Build a Hyperflow: create a local String Assign example, run it manually and find REQ-DEMO-001 | VPN access | Maya Chen in Inspector. That exact output was observed in the documented run; no external application was changed.
AI Agent basics — Configure an agent, add the onboarding-policy source and review its Playground conversation and Logs. Check employee and contractor packages, a missing fact and the action boundary. The documented three-turn test passed those four checks.
Service Automation basics — run the local Work Item example, define a service and inspect the Service Case. Compare the configuration, direct execution and case evidence before interpreting the result.
For the service exercise, the positive Work Item v1.0.1 direct run is observed. The separate Service v1.0.0 case contains an unresolved result-mapping discrepancy, and Service v1.1.0 deployment/runtime is not verified. The guide identifies those limits rather than treating the whole service route as a passed test.
Your practice record should contain the resource name and version, test input, expected output, actual output and screenshot or log reference. Mark unrun steps Not tested and missing evidence Blocked; use Passed only for the check that the evidence supports.
A practical learning sequence
Complete the basics course and reproduce a short local-data example in your approved training environment.
Learn Hyperflow variables, triggers and monitoring.
Take the advanced course with one application integration you actually need. Start with a read operation before adding writes.
Take the Teams course if your delivery channel is Teams. Follow the current bot setup guide alongside the recording.
Choose one worked example and document its input, expected result and failure path before enabling it for other users.
For introductory material, see the platform overview video and course preview. The demo environment is an additional practice entry point when access is available. Use approved sample data; a demo account does not make external actions harmless.
Assessment and certificate request
After completing the three courses, take the Advanced Autom Mate Quiz. After passing, send your full name, the email address used for the courses and your LinkedIn profile URL to [email protected] to request the Academy certificate. Include your completion details so the Academy team can review the request.
Keep learning with the product documentation
Courses explain the approach; the product guides help you complete the task. Use AI Agent setup for conversational experiences, MCP connection for supported AI-client tools, and the Service Automation model for reusable services with a deployment and case lifecycle.
