Microsoft Teams
Microsoft Teams integration allows users to interact with Autom Mate AI Agents directly within their organization's collaboration environment.
By connecting an AI Agent to Microsoft Teams, employees can communicate with automation workflows using natural language without leaving the Teams interface.
This enables organizations to provide AI-powered assistance, service automation, and knowledge access directly inside Teams conversations.
How Microsoft Teams Integration Works
When a user sends a message to the bot in Microsoft Teams:
The message is received by the Microsoft Teams Bot.
The bot forwards the request to Autom Mate through a webhook endpoint.
The request is processed by the configured AI Agent.
The AI Agent may interact with integrated systems (ServiceNow, Xurrent, ServiceDesk Plus, etc.).
The response is returned to Microsoft Teams and displayed to the user.
This architecture allows organizations to bring automation and AI-driven support directly into their internal communication platform.
Prerequisites
Before configuring the Microsoft Teams channel, ensure the following requirements are met:
An Autom Mate account
An AI Agent created in AI Agent Composer
Access to Microsoft Azure Portal
Permissions to create an Azure Bot
A configured Microsoft Teams tenant
