Install Autom Center

Install the central platform in customer-managed infrastructure, then verify browser access and an execution path. For an Autom Mate cloud workspace, use its supplied URL and skip the Center installation.

Dublin package availability — 13 October 2026: the Dublin on-premises installer is not yet available. The steps below apply when you have a released package for your selected component and version. Confirm package availability and compatibility with [email protected] before starting.

This is an installation workflow for a release-specific package. The package's prerequisites and installer prompts determine the exact component versions, directories and endpoint settings.

Prerequisites

  • An approved Autom Center installation package for the target release.

  • A prepared host and the completed system requirements checklist.

  • An installation account with the privileges required by the package.

  • The planned hostname, certificate, endpoint configuration and supporting database/logging requirements.

  • A recovery point if the host already contains an installation or data.

Install the platform

  1. Check the package. Confirm the source, target version and supported platform before running it. Where a checksum or signature is supplied, compare it with the downloaded package.

  2. Run the supplied installer. For the Windows installer, run it with the required administrator privileges. Review the displayed installation choice before proceeding.

  3. Set the destination. Use the planned installation directory. Record it for updates, backup and troubleshooting.

  4. Review component configuration. Confirm the database, web endpoint and logging components required by the package. Do not point a fresh installation at an existing production database unless the approved procedure calls for it.

  5. Review and install. Check the summary, complete the installation and retain the installer result or log. Resolve a failed component before continuing with application configuration.

  6. Start the supplied services. Follow the package's service-start sequence. Confirm that each required service remains running rather than only starting briefly.

Complete first access

Open the configured Autom Center URL. Confirm the expected hostname and certificate, then use the administrator onboarding details supplied for this installation. Set the account's password according to your organization's policy before handing over access.

Record the platform version displayed in the product. Configure the environment's required licence and operational settings through the supported administration process. Establish named user accounts for ordinary work through Users and Roles.

Continue with Mate Agent installation if the package has not already provided the required execution component.

Expected result

The configured URL opens, an authorized administrator can sign in, the product reports the intended version and the required platform services remain available. Complete one isolated automation test through a selected Mate Agent before declaring the installation ready for operational work.

Older instructions use specific localhost ports and an initial default password. Use the values supplied for your package; they are not a universal first-login procedure. Keep passwords and secret-bearing configuration out of support screenshots.
